I honestly wasn’t shocked at how good the food scene is in Bozeman, Montana — and the coffee? Completely blew me away. It was a short 2-day trip, so I wish I could’ve tried even more, but here’s a rundown of the best food and coffee based on everything I managed to squeeze in! (spoiler alert: it was delish!)

Best food & coffee in Bozeman: Where to eat
(or skip straight to the coffee)
Western Cafe
I can’t start this list without mentioning Western Cafe. The second I walked in, I got exactly the classic Western vibes I was hoping for on this trip! And the breakfast didn’t disappoint either. I got the Bobcat Breakfast which includes bacon, french toast, eggs, and hash browns. The bacon was probably my favorite part, the strips were huge and so crispy. We also had to try one of their giant pancakes! Heads up: it gets busy, so try to get there early. We got there around 8am and were seated quickly at the bar.

Fink’s Delicatessen
The perfect place to pick up a sandwich after a day of hiking (or pick it up beforehand, and bring it with you!) I got the turkey sandwich with havarti, sprouts, pickled red onion, and basil aioli on a baguette. I’m a sucker for anything with pickled onion or aioli, so this was right up my alley. It’s a little small though, so I don’t recommend sharing! It was really busy, so we ordered online for pickup!

Wild Crumb
This bakery might have ruined carrot cake for me everywhere else, mainly because of the frosting: insanely creamy and rich, but not overly sweet. They obviously have a lot more worth trying, so that’s just one more reason for me to come back. Bonus: it’s right next door to Fink’s, so if you’re already there for lunch, dessert is just a few steps away.

Revelry
We stopped here because I’d heard good things about their chicken caesar wrap, which is one of my favorite foods. I’m pretty picky about them though, and kind of a snob when it comes to the dressing (if it’s not homemade, I’m out). But I’m happy to report this was the real deal: packed with chicken, homemade dressing, and all the right textures. We actually came back a second time on our way to the airport because one visit wasn’t enough! I’d probably go back to Bozeman just for this.
It’s a little pricy, but it’s huge, so the portion size helps make it worth it. I left feeling stuffed, and probably could’ve split it if I was looking for a lighter lunch.
My fiancé got the burger, which was also great, but the wrap stole the show.

Best food & coffee in Bozeman: Where to get coffee
A little context before I get into the coffee portion of this post: my go-to coffee order is a simple iced honey latte — not too sweet, not too milky, with a strong espresso flavor underneath. So that’s of which. I’m rating these
Treeline Coffee Roasters
Such a cute spot, and the second I saw a salted honey latte on the menu, I was sold, because that’s basically my ideal coffee order. The latte itself was delicious: not quite as espresso-forward as I usually like, but the sweetness level was spot on, and whatever milk they’re using was noticeably creamy and rich (you can always tell when a coffee shop is using good milk). We also tried the pumpkin bread — sadly not pictured, but it was to die for, too definitely try one of their pastries!

Roly-Poly Coffee Co.
Another really cool spot, with eclectic vibes and outdoor seating overlooking the mountains. It’s hard to beat a good coffee with an even better view – basically my ideal morning. My iced honey latte here was strong and not too sweet. There’s a few locations in town, but I recommend the one on N Broadway Ave for the vibes alone!

Ghost Town Coffee
I’m so sad I don’t have a picture of this one. There are a few locations around town, and we kept talking about trying it but never made time, so when I spotted it at the airport on our way home, I had to try it. It ended up being one of my favorite coffees of the entire trip, which is wild for an airport coffee especially. Definitely try one of their locations in town!
That’s my full list of the best food and coffee in Bozeman — it’s definitely a spot I want to return to and try even more!
